These seals can be used without problems also with dry operation or insufficient lubrication. The material`s excellent thermal properties, with an operating range of -80ºC to +220ºC, are unrivaled. Moreover, PTFE is featured by high chemical resistance and a low breakaway torque after standstill.

In a typical application, the oil seal is installed adjacent to a bearing, sealing in or sealing out, as necessary, the various liquids, gases or solids encountered by the particular mechanism.
